Tabatha Cristy Nettles of Ethel and Brett Duane Burns of Slaughter will marry in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at St. Gemme de Beauvais in Ethel. Mary Ann Pittman of Jackson will officiate.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lee and Krystal Nettles of Ethel. She is the granddaughter of Greta Kirby, the late John Kirby and the late Opal and Carter Nettles all of Greensburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Silliman Institute in Clinton.

The groom-elect is the son of Melanie Johnson of Gloster, MS. He is the grandson of Pat and Neddie Burns of Baton Rouge and Genell Johnson also of Baton Rouge.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Northeast High School in Pride.
