The Zachary Community School District officially broke ground last week on the new 14,000 sq. ft. school board office now under construction at 37th and Church streets. Superintendent Warren Drake addressed Zachary school board members, elected officials, former school board members, and representatives from the master planning firm CSRS, architect firm Grace + Hebert, and contractors Quadrants, Inc. Drake thanked the City of Zachary, Mayor Martinez, and the entire ZCSB staff for their support over the last seven years. The ZCSD is entering its eighth year of operation and seventh school year.
