Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Miss Borel was a very talented member of the Home Demonstration Club in St. Martinville. She was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.
She is survived by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philbert and Dervianne Melancon Borel; and her brothers Louis and Jean Borel.
A rosary was recited at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
