• Little Star Freewill Baptist Church, located at 2511 Church Street, Zachary, will host the Center Baptist Church of Darlington, South Carolina in Concert on Sunday, July 1, at 3 p.m.

• Summer High Tea Getaway: Spend an afternoon of rejuvenation at a Summer High Tea Getaway on Saturday, July 14, from 2 - 5 p.m.

The high tea is sponsored by the Baton Rouge Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and hosted by the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ladies Auxiliary and KayCee Ladies at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

There will be dulcimer music, a "Feliciana Tea," a display of arts and quilts, Marian hymns and a living rosary.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about the Diocesan Council of Catholic Woman, an organization that supports, empowers and educates Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service.

Ladies are encouraged to wear a hat and gloves.

Tickets are $10.

• Galilee Baptist Church hosts an aerobic class every Monday and Thursday night from 6 - 7 p.m. in the church gym.

The class does a ZUMBA workout with video included.

• A Journey of Hope and Renewal

The Addiction Recovery Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana announces its 29th annual weekend for men and women who are or who want to be in recovery: A Journey of Hope and Renewal.

The conference will take place at Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, La., August 3 - 5.

The cost of the weekend is $152, and registration is open until Monday, July 23.
