Depression and anxiety might seem like opposites, but they often go together. More than half of the people diagnosed with depression also have anxiety. Either condition can be disabling on its own.

Together, depression and anxiety can be especially hard to live with, hard to diagnose and hard to treat. But people do recover. You just need to find the right treatment.

Professionals from Lane Behavioral Health will discuss effective treatment for depression and anxiety during a Lunch and Learn session on Wednesday, May 23, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in the Staff Development Classroom at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary.

Advance reservations are required by calling 654-LANE (5263). The session is FREE and includes a light lunch.
