Eric John Kaiser, French-American singer and musician,

will be in Louisiana as part of a US Live Tour releasing his

new album “Dehors c’est l’Amérique” (outside it’s America) and doing a series of performances to showcase his unique "Parisian Americana" sound.

In Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans, the guitar and vocal artist Eric John Kaiser will celebrate the French Speaking World (March being the Francophonie Month) giving 5 concerts of its English and French repertory.

Kaiser will also give musical workshop to children of elementary schools at Westdale Middle School and FLAIM in Baton Rouge and Ecole Bilingue in New Orleans. The pedagogical workshops will also take place in St Martinville and Lafayette.

Since the June, 2010, release of his third CD, "Portland Rendez-Vous," Eric John Kaiser ("Portland's French Troubadour") has logged close to 10,000 miles via air, land and sea. Exploring North America on multiple lengthy tours, the Paris native has gigged his way up through Canada and down through the South, as far as New Orleans and Washington D.C., where he performed as an "Artist in Residence" for the Smithsonian Museum. Sometimes driving his trusty Subaru under the wide Montana sky, sometimes riding the subway under the New York City canyons... Then jetting across the Atlantic to tour through France... His music has logged as many miles and picked up accents from across the American landscape: his latest songs resonate now with a very American rhythm, like bouncing across the vast plains on horseback... some western lap steel guitar... some dirty roadhouse blues...

Eric tours also tours extensively in the US and Europe. Last spring he headed through Canada and down to New Orleans (performing at the Smithsonian in DC), and from Portland to San Diego in June (performing at the prestigious deYoung Museum in SF).

He has recorded four full-length CDs.
