BATON ROUGE – Services were Wednesday for founding member of Process Services Inc. (PSI) Douglas Barlow. He died Feb. 13 at age 73.
Survivors include his wife Pam and a daughter.

Noted coach
MINDEN – Services for former teacher and coach Leon Snyder will be Friday. He died Feb. 14 at age 82.
Snyder, a Korean War veteran and a former member of the Sibley City Council, started the baseball and track programs at Tioga High School and coached basketball. At his retirement, he was assistant principal.
Survivors include his wife Joe Anne.
Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.
Youth baseball official
JACKSON – Services for widely known youth baseball official Alvin Giroir will be Thursday. He died Feb. 12 at age 63.
He worked for the East Feliciana Forensic Facility for 34 years and with the East Feliciana District Attorney’s Office. he was Southwest Regional Commissioner for the Babe Ruth baseball Association and was a member of the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife Kay, a son and a daughter.
Arrangements were by Charlet.
Former fire chief
CENTRAL – Services for former fire chief Huey Kinchen will be Friday. He died Feb. 14 at age 84.
He was a decorated U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and twice services as chief of the Central Volunteer Fire Dept. He was grand marshal of the city’s 2011 Christmas parade.
Survivors include his wife Mary, a son and several step-children.
