Boys Hope Girls Hope announces its Capital City Caper event will be held on Sunday, March 11, at the Hilton Capitol Center, 201 Lafayette St, starting at 2 p.m.

Now in its fourth year, this event is part scavenger hunt part amazing race. It gathers teams of eight to travel around Baton Rouge in chauffeured limousines to follow clues, work together to complete puzzles and ultimately solve the mystery of the Capital City Caper.

After all the puzzles are solved and challenges are completed, the limousines will return to the Hilton Capitol Center for a dinner, a silent auction, a wine pull and an awards ceremony announcing the winners.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baton Rouge houses at risk youth with drive and academic potential in family-like, value centered homes where these scholars reside while attending college prep middle and high schools on scholarships.

The program further supports these scholars through college and beyond, while helping them develop their full potential and while giving back to their families and communities.

“It is always a blast. I have friends begging for a spot on our team," said past participant Danielle Satawa, Controller, JHJ Piggly Wiggly. "It's the challenge of the game, and it’s for a good cause."

“It's great fun to do with a group of friends while raising money for a good cause. Our group had a ball!” said Sandi Lucas, community activist and past participant.
