East Baton Rouge Armed Robbery and Burglary division detectives arrested three people, two adults and one juvenile, believed to be responsible for at least 36 burglaries in the Gardere area from October 2011 thru January 2012, said Casey Rayborn Hicks in a press release issued this week.

Andrew Hairston, 17, of 13294 Azalea Park, is charged with four counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling and three counts of theft.

Kevin Robertson, 20, of 2068 Fountain Ave., is charged with 19 counts of simple burglary, five counts of aggravated burglary, 14 counts of felony theft of a firearm, five counts of theft of a firearm and seven counts of attempted theft.

The 15-year-old male is charged with 30 counts of simple burglary, six counts aggravated burglary, one count of attempted simple burglary, 23 counts of theft, 12 counts of attempted theft and six counts of theft of a firearm.

The three allegedly robbed various residences in the Westhaven, Springlake and Old Hermitage subdivisions during the three month period stealing electronics, jewelry and guns.

Detectives gathered evidence left at the scenes and were able to link the three to the burglaries. Detectives have recovered more than $100,000 worth of stolen goods and are in the process of contacting victims to return the items.

Additional charges may be pending, said Hicks.
