ZHS Broncos defeat Westgate 2-0, advance to second round Feb. 8 in Zachary

The Zachary High School boys soccer team, seeded 18th in the state for Division 1, won their first playoff game Friday, Feb. 3, with an upset over 13th seeded Westgate High School in New Iberia.

The final score was 2-0 with goals scored by Zach Wigger and Brandon Delhom.

The second-round of the playoffs for the ZHS Broncos will be against #2 seeded St. Paul's from Covington on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in Bronco Stadium. Come cheer on the ZHS Broncos as they make their run for a state title.

Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students. Century Club Cards do not apply in playoff games.
