The bride-elect is the daughter of Johnny and Tammy Garig, of Norwood.
She is the granddaughter of Giffie Lee, and the late B.T. Lee of Jackson, and Melville and Bernice Garig of Centreville, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Centreville Academy, and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. She is an education specialist at Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Headquarters.
Her fiancé is the son of Jeff and Jackie Farrar, of Pride.
He is the grandson of Lindsay Dawson, and the late Jessie Dawson of Slaughter, and Gary and Maggie Connelly of Colonial Heights, Virginia, and the late Bobbie and James H. Farrar of Zachary.
He is a graduate of Redemptorist High School and attended Joliet Junior College of Joliet, Illinois. He is a warranty technician at DSLD Homes of Denham Springs.
