Contestants were allowed to submit up to five paintings which used thick paint showing brush strokes. Artists also had to be a member of FineArtAmerica.com to participate.
Harmon won out of 108 paintings submitted by 30 artists. She primarily paints in the medium of oil and exhibits at various regional events.
Harmon participates as a vendor at the 2nd Saturday Community Market in Zachary and is also a member of the Zachary Artists Guild and board member of the Regional Arts Council of Zachary.
In addition, she is a member of the Louisiana Arts and Artists Guild.
