Halyn Elaine Brock of Weyanoke, La., and Justin Clyde Braswell of Wakefield, La., wish to announce the birth of their first child, a boy, Zaden Clyde Braswell.

Baby Zaden was born Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 4:22 a.m. at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. He weighed 7 pounds, 8.1 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long.

Proud grandparents are Donald and Patricia Braswell of Wakefield and Nicki Brock of Weyanoke. Proud great-grandparents are Roger and Ellen Brock of Weyanoke, John E. Braswell of Wakefield and Frances Kennedy of St.Francisville.

Numerous family members and friends are also excited and proud of the birth of Zaden Clyde Braswell.
