Fourth annual Freezin' for a Reason takes the plunge at Cabela's Jan. 28

Special Olympics Louisiana requests your presence at the 4th Annual “Freezin for a Reason” Polar Plunge. The event will kick off on Saturday, Jan. 28, with registration beginning at 9 a.m.

The event will last until the last participant takes the plunge.

Men and women will brave the cold to participate, and anyone can take the plunge for a minimum of $50!

This annual Polar Plunge event benefits Special Olympics athletes in Louisiana.

The general public, local celebrities, law enforcement officers, Special Olympics Louisiana athletes and staff are invited.

Those who have raised a minimum of $50 will plunge into the Cabela’s lake in the name of Special Olympics. Costumes are encouraged, and there will be music and the Cabela’s Beast Feast.

Take the plunge at the fourth annual Freezin' for a Reason at Cabela’s, 2200 West Cabela’s Parkway, Gonzales.
