Christine Williams Davis died peacefully at age 90 on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at 9:25 p.m. She was a resident of Zachary and a native of St. Helena Parish. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at First Baptist Church, Zachary, Friday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Grove. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Shelby Roshto; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Joan Davis, and Lawrence and Brenda Davis; four grandchildren, Ross Roshto, Ashley Davis, Becky Anderson and husband Shawn, and Tammy Conrad and husband Richard; four great-grandchildren, Grant Conrad, Georgia Conrad, Delaney Anderson and Breland Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Alton Davis Sr.; and two grandchildren, Stephen John Davis and Michael Lawrence Davis. Pallbearers will be Bill Davis, Lawrence Davis, Shelby Roshto, Ross Roshto, Andrew Redmond, Ronnie Davis and Grant Conrad. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Zachary.
