Chaneyville Community Center holds Health Awareness Day, Back to School event July 28

The Chaneyville Community Center, District 1 Metropolitan Councilman Trae Welch, Southeast Community Health System, “For Your Eyes Only”, DHDS/Office of Social Services and Covenant Community Church have teamed together to provide school supplies for the community children of Chaneyville.

The FREE Community Health Fair/Back to School Give-Away is scheduled for Saturday July 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chaneyville Community Center, 13211 Jackson Rd. in Zachary.

Families are welcome to bring their school-aged children. Supplies for different grade levels will be available while supplies last.

No proof of documents neccesary.

In addition, there will be free food, snowballs, entertainment, face painting, space-walk, door prizes, dental and health screenings, immunizations and identification cards for kids will be available by the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s Office.
