“Guys and Dolls” is a musical comedy based on Damon Runyon’s tale of a gambler’s romantic pursuit of a mission leader and a crap game promoter’s struggle to maintain both his livelihood and engagement to a night club singer. This timeless fable has become a classic American musical since its premiere performance in 1950.

On March 26, 27 and 28, the picturesque little town of Jackson, Louisiana invites visitors to browse through fine antiques and incredibly varied collectibles assembled by select dealers from seven states, all fittingly displayed in two historic buildings purchased and maintained by the Jackson Assembly, with proceeds from past shows. For 45 years the Jackson Assembly has welcomed visitors to its annual Antiques Show and Sale.

The Lane Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will host the very popular Masquerade Jewelry Sale Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26.
The sale will be held in the West Wing Conference Room on the first floor of the hospital Thursday, March 25, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Friday, March 26, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
There will be a wide variety of quality jewelry and accessories for men, women and children including rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, jewelry sets, wallets, watches and more – and everything is $5!

Jim Doss, RN, BSN, CNOR, Director of Surgery at Williamson Eye Center recently traveled to Haiti to volunteer his time and services to aid in the recovery efforts from the devastating earthquakes.
