By Bryce Giannobile Life as a high school student has its challenges but those are outweighed by the opportunities that Zachary High has. Every day I am grateful to be attending ZHS because life as a student here is a good one. I wake up in the morning, get ready and ride the bus to school.
Saturday, May 3, marks the inaugural running of Zachary's Race to the Finish 5K and 1-miler, presented by ZEPTO. Race time is 9 a.m. Zachary’s Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (more commonly known as ZEPTO) is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization that supports all five of Zachary’s elementary schools.

The American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life event for the communities of Baker and Zachary was held April 11 to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer and lost, the survivors who have won and the memories of loved ones who have lost. They all came together to fight back against the disease of cancer.
