East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested three individuals Wednesday evening involved in a bank robbery that occurred Sept. 17 at approximately 10:40 a.m.

Health officials confirm 12 new West Nile Virus infections, 92 cases this year

There were seven new cases of West Nile fever reported last week: Caddo (2), East Baton Rouge (2), Livingston (1), Orleans (1) and St. Tammany (1) and two new asymptomatic cases, one in East Baton Rouge and one in Iberville parishes.

Mabel LeBlanc Broussard (1924 ~ 2014)

Mabel LeBlanc Broussard, 90, was born on Aug. 10, 1924, and passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Zachary, where she has resided for the past nine years.
