The Zachary High Varsity Bronco Baseball team honored its seven seniors Saturday, April 19, at Zachary Youth Park. The seniors were recognized before the game along with their parents, who joined the pre-game huddle prior to the game against Walker.

CAT ISLAND NWR PROPOSES INCREASE FOR ANNUAL REC FEE USER PERMIT

Directions to Cat Island: Go west on Hwy. 66 from Hwy. 61 (north of St. Francisville). After 1.5 miles, turn left on Solitude Rd. Go about 3.5 miles and then turn right at the refuge sign. Follow the signs to the refuge from there (about 1.5 miles).

Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge is seeking public comment on the proposal to increase Annual Public Use Permit fees for the Refuge, which is located north of St. Francisville off La. Hwy.
